On the Waterfront / Episode 03 - Out Now!

07 October 2021 by Chris Gray

Located on the banks of the river Loddon, a tributary of the Thames near Wargrave in Berkshire, the house sits within Flood Zone 3b. The house ‘floats’ across the site as a single, linear form and is aligned on the cardinal points north south. The linear form plays against the meandering river – the linear against the arabesque.

On the Waterfront is a collaboration between John Pardey Architects, https://www.johnpardeyarchitects.com/, and photographer & filmmaker, Stephenson& https://www.youtube.com/c/StephensonAnd which details three of JPA's houses, each occupying a different watery site.
