JPA were honoured to be presented with two awards for Chestnut Plantation at the New Forest National Park Building Design Awards.

"The New Forest’s buildings and their setting in the landscape are an important part of what makes the National Park special. The annual Awards celebrate high-quality design and the best new developments across the National Park, with nominations invited in several categories."

The 2024 Awards recognised outstanding buildings constructed within the boundary of the New Forest. Chestnut Plantation won the Best Residential Scheme, and Highly Commended in the Best Green Building category.

The judges praised what can be achieved within a small dwelling (100m2), and were particularly impressed with the solar panels, air source heat pump, and the woodland management plan for the surrounding site.
